How do I join the official Order of the Sinking Star Discord?
Use the Hero Join Discord button on this page (same URL as https://discord.gg/PcCxqvfeKK) or paste the code from Steam Community. Confirm the splash matches Order of the Sinking Star. Complete any rules or age gate the live client actually shows — wording TBA. Skip a second server that only posts unrelated puzzle dumps or Nitro logins.
- Do01Click Join Discord in the Hero, or open discord.gg/PcCxqvfeKK
- Do02Confirm the splash title is Order of the Sinking Star, not a generic “puzzle codes” guild
- Do03Finish the live rules / role gate (labels TBA)
- Do04If the gg code 404s, use Steam Community app 499170 socials — do not accept a DM replacement
- Do05Keep Steam Guard / console accounts off Discord DMs
Hero stays Join Discord
The primary CTA is the invite, not a Steam store takeover. A Buy on Steam secondary button may sit beside it. After you land in the sidebar, come back here for first-hour verbs — Discord is not the beginner guide.
PS5 and Switch 2 players join the same server. There is no Xbox guild to find because there is no Xbox listing on the store page this wiki tracks.

How do I tell the official server from a mill?
Search results for Order of the Sinking Star Discord mix the Steam-linked guild with generic “free codes” rooms. This game has no codes menu. Compare the invite path and the server title, not the emoji on the icon.
| Check | Official-looking | Walk away |
|---|---|---|
| Invite path | discord.gg/PcCxqvfeKK (Steam Community) | Shorteners that hide the guild, or a “new code” in DMs |
| Server title | Order of the Sinking Star | Generic “Thekla leaks” / “1000 puzzle solutions” |
| Steam talk | App 499170, Thekla / Arc Games | Roblox place IDs, Xbox keys, Mac cracked builds |
| DMs on join | None required | Nitro, “admin”, paid spoiler docs |
| Directory | Discord servers listing under the same name | Unrelated Witness / Braid merch servers |
| Ask | Hint ladders, patch notes | Full room-N dumps for money |
The alt URL
https://discord.com/invite/PcCxqvfeKK is the same invite code on the discord.com host. Bookmark either; if they ever diverge, keep the Steam Community button. A mill that asks for your Steam password is never the Order of the Sinking Star Discord.
disdex-style directories have recorded this invite as issued by an Arc Games admin account and marked alive — useful as a cross-check, not as a second CTA. Next: why this page will not name hashes.
What are the Order of the Sinking Star Discord channel names?
Live sidebar names are TBA. The table is a role map so you know what to look for after you join — it is not a claim that those exact titles exist. Do not cite this wiki as a #hash list.
| Role you might need | Live channel name | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Patch / store / trailer news | TBA | Do not invent a title |
| General puzzle chat | TBA | Do not invent a title |
| Hint requests (no spoilers) | TBA | Do not invent a title |
| Demo vs launch split | TBA | Do not invent a title |
| Console (PS5 / Switch 2) help | TBA | Do not invent a title |
| Voice | TBA | Do not invent a title |
| Support / tickets | TBA | Do not invent a title |
Why this page will not name #channels
Guessing #announcements or #spoilers would freeze a lie into search results. When someone dumps Browse Channels, this table gets real names. Until then, use Discord’s own search after you join.
Rules wording is also TBA. Follow whatever the live splash actually shows. Next: what the server is good for if you are in hour one.
What should I actually use the Order of the Sinking Star Discord for?
News, patch timing, and graded hints. Not a 1000-room solution mill, not a codes feed, not a place to paste your entire save.
| You want… | Ask Discord for… | Better on this wiki |
|---|---|---|
| First-hour Undo / which cardinal | A verb nudge, no room number | beginner guide |
| World order without spoilers | “Leave West until ready” confirmation | walkthrough |
| Demo carry-over | Publisher restatement | demo |
| A Gold Room pairing | Whether two verbs collide there | Gold Rooms |
| A named trophy | Wait for a dump | achievements |
| A full grid solution | Do not ask; do not paste | Stay on verbs / mechanics |
Hint ladders beat spoilers
If you post, say the world and the verb you think you are missing — not the puzzle title if you can avoid it. Invite people to answer with the next experiment, not the crate path. Thekla’s loop dies when the first reply is a numbered list.
Trailer and interview footage already spoils combinatorics if you keep watching. Discord is optional extra noise. Next: the things that get accounts stolen.
What should I never share after I join?
The Order of the Sinking Star Discord does not need your Steam password, Steam Guard codes, PSN / Nintendo account, or card. Treat every DM as hostile until you know the username from a public staff list — and this wiki does not publish a staff list.
- Do01Never send Steam, PSN, or Nintendo passwords or 2FA codes in Discord
- Do02Never run a “save editor” or injector someone pastes for extra puzzles
- Do03Never pay for a solution document or Nitro-for-hints
- Do04Never accept a replacement invite from a new account that DMs you
- Do05Never paste your full save or cloud ID into public chat for “check this”
- Do06Never treat a codes list as official — this game has no codes menu
Report with the live client
Block / report using whatever labels Discord currently shows — button names TBA. If a room exists only to sell Witness-maze overlays or cracked Mac builds, leave. Buy on Steam stays the install path.
Do I need Discord to play Order of the Sinking Star?
No. The Steam, PS5, and Switch 2 builds load without the invite. Discord is for news and optional human hints. Publisher copy already points players at the official Discord for demo discussion — that is a courtesy, not a gate.
| Goal | Need Discord? | Better page |
|---|---|---|
| First-hour Undo and two verbs | No | beginner guide |
| Four-world route | No | walkthrough |
| Demo length / carry-over | No | demo |
| Same-hour patch news | Helpful, not required | This page’s invite + Steam news |
| Xbox / Mac install | N/A | Not listed — do not join a mill that “has the build” |
Join, then play
If you only have two minutes, hit Join Discord, confirm the title, mute DMs, and return to the Overworld. The Order of the Sinking Star Discord will still be there after you can name push versus mirror-swap.
If the invite fails, you can still play. Bookmark Steam Community for app 499170 rather than accepting a lookalike card.
What next
After you join, start the beginner guide so you are not asking the server to teach Undo. Demo owners: demo page.
